Hi Ole,

In my case, I've been able to get a Chinese VISA in 3 previous occasions,
more than 4 months in advance, which is also my typical average to by
flights, book hotels, and so on to obtain lower fares. So should work also
this time.

>From now to the next IETF meeting in China, I've only 1 slot of 7-on-a-row
days at home, and during this week I also need to renew my passport (because
the typical rule of expiry 6 months after the end of your trip), which in
Spain, fortunately takes only a couple of hours.

I know, I should have asked even earlier, but was not realizing it will not
go online quickly after the meeting was announced.
