First: thanks for getting the system up and running again. Then a small
addition to what you said:

Actually, I think some of us learned a lesson during this incident. The
confusion was not entirely your fault. I think we would have had access
to a few more phone numbers to call... had those phone numbers been
somewhere else than on the web site that went down. Duh :-)

I think this will be very helpful. And now: everyone store that number
somewhere locally. Don't expect to be able to go to the IETF mail
archives to search for it at the time that you will need it.
