RE: Warning - risk of duty free stuff being confiscated on thewayto Prague

Maybe the airlines should simply shut down the duty free shops and send every passenger a discount coupon for $10 off a bottle of booze bought in their local liquor store.

I find that the prices at CostCo are remarkably similar to those at most duty free shops and considerably more convenient than carrying additional luggage.
