I am saddened to share that Bernard Aboba, a long time IETF participant, <https://datatracker.ietf.org/person/bernard.aboba@xxxxxxxxx> passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, after facing health challenges.

Many of you certainly know him, and appreciate the work that he did over the years for a better and more secure Internet, in the IETF, IEEE and at Microsoft.

Bernard's funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM at: Herzi Memorial Park<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url="">>, 16747 Dayton Ave. N, Shoreline, WA 98133.
