Hi John,
I took a quick look at draft-levine-iduse-00. There is a note in
square brackets in Section 1 requesting the removal of that
section. I read it as meaning that the Introduction Section would be
removed on publication. I doubt that is what you intended.
Please see
https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-levine-iduse-00.html
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-levine-iduse-00 and
file:///C:/Users/sm/Downloads/draft-levine-iduse-00.pdf The rendered
pages show up as "Published: 6 December 2023". It may be a tools bug
as the text version at
https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-levine-iduse-00.txt does not
say "Published".
The datatracker (Section 3) already lists drafts as "Active" or
"Inactive". The change being proposed is to allow the author to
reset the timer without having to make any changes to the draft. If
I had to give a quick answer I'd say that the change would not
negatively impact me.
Regards,
S. Moonesamy
