It is for precisely this reason that, when travelling, I habitually wear an old Timex watch with three timezones.  One I set to local time, adjusting as I go; another I keep on home time, and the third I keep on UTC.  It's such a useful facility that I'm surprised you can't get anything quite like it any more.

I still wind up having to double-check that the agenda page is set to something I can properly interpret.
