To hopefully close the loop on this. When you volunteer for nomcom via the registration page, it's "sticky" until that IETF meeting times out past the last five -- i.e., it lasts for basically two years. Almost everyone forgets this at some point. :) In the future, the tools team will add an indication of when you volunteered, like "114" meaning you checked the box during this IETF registration, which is why you will find yourself on the potential volunteer list next year. (Similar to the 1,2,3 path notation). Hope this helps.
