As you are one authors of RFC 6125bis, how big are the technical changes ? 

https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url1=rfc6125&url2=draft-ietf-uta-rfc6125bis-06&difftype=--html shows a big chunk of textual differences at first sight (I would need to review carefully the diff though -- hence my request to you ;-) )... 

OTOH, RFC 6125 is only an informative reference so changing the reference to the -bis document (especially after its WGLC is done) should not require another Last Call for the DNR document (and will not delay its publication process).

As you wrote, I am sure that the SEC AD will say something but, at first sight, I am really ambivalent
