I have seen a number of reports both ways, one that the UK PM was trying to negotiate a reduction in the US travel ban, but on the other hand there are a lot of fairly recent reports that US was going to keep them in place until after the mid-terms to avoid political blowback.

Foreign nationals flying to the United States will be required to be fully vaccinated against the coronavirus when the policy takes effect in early November, White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients said.
Vaccinated travelers to the United States will also have to test negative for the virus within three days of departure. Unvaccinated Americans returning to the United States have to test negative within one day of leaving and again after arriving.
