That said, we'll likely want to focus our (limited) resources on those issues that can enable large practical improvements.
To me a few things are apparent:
- some fixes may be easy; others difficult; some can probably be
done quickly; others more slowly.
- some things probably can't be fixed at all, at least under
current conditions, and some things perhaps not ever.
- the landscape changes over time, somewhat unpredictably,
potentially making some things easier to fix but also
introducing new challenges.
- diversity and inclusion are efforts that require an ongoing organizational commitment to continuous improvement.
So I see the draft we're working on as a kind of snapshot of the current situation, rather than a list of everything that needs to be fixed and then we're done.
