Ooops. The IETF sure does have a lot of rules. Luckily, I recently found out those rules don't apply to me :-) I think Adrian Farrell will do a really good job as IETF chair. All my interaction with him have been stellar. He gave me actionable advice and no opinion I didn't explicitly ask for. Plus, every time I read a post of his on a mailing list, I'm left thinking......."yeah, that makes sense" And say no to Barry Leiba. > On 11/10/2020 8:28 PM Timothy Mcsweeney <tim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > Ooops. > The IETF sure does have a lot of rules. Because many people have biases against this sort of public display, such discussion should not be considered as benefiting any nominee who is being praised, nor harming any nominee that people say bad things about. > > Thx, > > Barbara > > > > From:Timothy Mcsweeney <tim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > Sent: Tuesday, November 10, 2020 6:34 PM > > To: NomCom Chair 2020 <nomcom-chair-2020@xxxxxxxx>; IETF Announcement List <ietf-announce@xxxxxxxx> > > Cc: ietf@xxxxxxxx > > Subject: Re: NomCom needs your feedback! > > > > Adrain Farrel should be IETF chair. > > > > > > > On 11/10/2020 7:10 PM NomCom Chair 2020 <nomcom-chair-2020@xxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > > > > > > > Hi IETF, > > > NomCom is considering nominees for AD positions, IETF Chair, IAB, LLC > > > Board, and IETF Trust.
