Outcome of WG Call to adopt CCID-4 & CCID-3-Drops.

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

The following drafts were put forward for consideration by the DCCP WG:

draft-kohler-dccp-ccid3-drops-01.txt
draft-floyd-dccp-ccid4-01.txt

1) The CCID-4 draft has received support at the WG meeting and from the
mailing list. There is also work in progress to implement this draft.
The WG has therefore adopted this draft with the intention to publish as
an Experimental RFC with a milestone of June 2008. The authors are
invited to submit a new revision of the draft with the following name:

draft-ietf-dccp-ccid4-00.txt

2) CCID-3 drops was suggested as a STD-Track RFC. There seems to have
been little discussion about this draft, and this is therefore NOT
adopted as an update to CCID-3 at this time. The WG Chairs will contact
the author(s) to see how best to develop this work.

Best wishes,
Gorry & Tom
(DCCP WG Co-Chairs)
