Sieve scripts allow users to filter incoming email. Message stores
are commonly sealed servers so users cannot log into them, yet users
must be able to update their scripts on them. This document describes
a protocol "ManageSieve" for securely managing Sieve scripts on a
remote server. This protocol allows a user to have multiple scripts,
and also alerts a user to syntactically flawed scripts. [STANDARDS
TRACK]

This document is a product of the Sieve Mail Filtering Language Working Group of the IETF.

This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.

STANDARDS TRACK: This document specifies an Internet standards track
protocol for the Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions
for improvements. Please refer to the current edition of the Internet
Official Protocol Standards (STD 1) for the standardization state and
status of this protocol. Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
