The IESG has approved the following document: - 'Session Description Protocol (SDP) Attributes for OMA BCAST Service and Content Protection ' <draft-dondeti-oma-mmusic-sdp-attrs-00.txt> as an Informational RFC This document has been reviewed in the IETF but is not the product of an IETF Working Group. The IESG contact person is Cullen Jennings. A URL of this Internet-Draft is: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-dondeti-oma-mmusic-sdp-attrs-00.txt Technical Summary This specification defines SDP attributes used by the Open Mobile Alliance's Broadcast Service and Content Protection specification. Working Group Summary This specification was not produced by a WG. Protocol Quality This was reviewed my the MMUSIC WG but is not a product of that WG. Note to RFC Editor OLD OMA BCAST specifications are expected to be used by 3GPP MBMS, 3GPP2 BCMCS and DVB-H based broadcast wireless systems. NEW OMA BCAST specifications are expected to be used by 3GPP MBMS, 3GPP2 BCMCS and DVB-H based broadcast wireless systems. Although this would typically be considered a "widespread" use, in this case IETF choose to use a non standards track RFC to register the SDP attributes because OMA maintains change control of the documents that specify the interpretation of the values in the attributes. _______________________________________________ IETF-Announce@ietf.org https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/ietf-announce
