The IESG has approved the following document: - 'Pseudowire Virtual Circuit Connectivity Verification (VCCV) A Control Channel for Pseudowires ' <draft-ietf-pwe3-vccv-15.txt> as a Proposed Standard This document is the product of the Pseudowire Emulation Edge to Edge Working Group. The IESG contact persons are Mark Townsley and Jari Arkko. A URL of this Internet-Draft is: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-pwe3-vccv-15.txt Technical Summary This document describes a protocol that provides a control channel that is associated with a Pseudowire (PW), and its use for operations and management functions such as connectivity verification to be used over that control channel. VCCV applies to all supported access circuit and transport types currently defined for PWs. Working Group Summary This document has been reviewed by the experts in the PWE3 WG and there are no outstanding issues.
