Title : A ROHC Profile for RTCP (ROHC-RTCP)
Author(s) : C. Bormann
Filename : draft-bormann-rohc-avt-rtcp-profile-00.txt
Pages : 15
Date : 2007-2-28
This document specifies a ROHC (Robust Header Compression) profile
for compression of RTCP packets. The profile, called ROHC-RTCP,
provides efficient and robust compression of RTCP packets, including
frequently used RTCP features.
ROHC-RTCP is intended to be used in conjunction with ROHC profiles
for the compression of RTP headers such as RFC 3905 and ROHCv2,
making use of context replication (RFC 4164) where appropriate. In
particular, ROHC-RTCP is intended to remove the need for
standardization of special-purpose variants of RTCP for applications
just because these also need to work over low-speed links.

NOTE: The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
how to manipulate these messages.
Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
