This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base
(MIB) for use with network management protocols in the Internet
community. In particular, it describes managed objects used for
managing multiple logical and physical entities managed by a single
SNMP agent. This document specifies version 3 of the Entity MIB,
which obsoletes version 2 (RFC 2737).
This document is a product of the Entitiy MIB Working Group of the
IETF.
This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.
This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for
the Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions
for improvements. Please refer to the current edition of the
"Internet Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the
standardization state and status of this protocol. Distribution
of this memo is unlimited.
