This document describes need for interface between Mobile IPv6 and
IPsec/IKE and show how two protocols can interwork each other. We
propose a mechanism to realize this interaction by extending PF_KEY
framework. Proposed mechanism makes it possible for Mobile IPv6 to
inform IPsec/IKE about the movement. Receiving the message, IPsec
components can take necessary actions to update corresponding entry
in SPD and SADB. In addition, IKE can use the notification for
keeping its IKE connection alive.
