The IESG has approved the following document: - 'Textual Conventions for Internet Network Addresses ' <draft-ietf-ops-rfc3291bis-06.txt> as a Proposed Standard This document has been reviewed in the IETF but is not the product of an IETF Working Group. This document obsoletes RFC 3291. The IESG contact person is Bert Wijnen. Technical Summary This MIB module defines textual conventions to represent commonly used Internet network layer addressing information. The intent is that these textual conventions will be imported and used in MIB modules that would otherwise define their own representations. This document Obsoletes RFC 3291. This is the 3rd version, which introduces the InetZoneIndex, InetScopeType and InetVersion textual conventions. Working Group Summary This document is not a WG document. But it did get reviewed on the mibs (currently ietfmibs) mailing list. In addition a 4 week IETF Last Call has been issued. The MIB Doctors have also reviewed this.
