This document is the product of the MBONE Deployment Working Group.

This document was the product of the mboned working group.  The IESG contact people are Randy Bush and Bert Wijnen.

Technical Summary

 This document describes best current practices for intra-domain and
 inter-domain deployment of the Multicast Source Discovery Protocol
 (MSDP) in conjunction with Protocol Independent Multicast Sparse Mode
 (PIM-SM).

 The document had working group consensus, and no technical issues were 
 raised in working group or IETF last call
