The IESG has approved the following document: - 'A Practice for Revoking Posting Rights to IETF mailing lists ' <draft-mrose-ietf-posting-04.txt> as a BCP This document has been reviewed in the IETF but is not the product of an IETF Working Group. The IESG contact person is Steve Bellovin. Technical Summary For the last several years, the IESG has had occasion to bar disruptive individuals from assorted mailing lists, using RFC 2418 as the basis for suc actions. This draft codifies and formalizes the practice. It also provides a basis for barring a disruptive individual from all IETF mailing lists, not just one at a time. Working Group Summary There was consensus within the IETF community on this draft. Protocol Quality Steve Bellovin has reviewed this draft for the IESG.
