The IESG has approved the following document:
- 'BFD for Multipoint Networks'
  (draft-ietf-bfd-multipoint-19.txt) as Proposed Standard

This document is the product of the Bidirectional Forwarding Detection
Working Group.

The IESG contact persons are Alvaro Retana, Deborah Brungard and Martin
Vigoureux.

Technical Summary

   This document describes extensions to the Bidirectional Forwarding
   Detection (BFD) protocol for its use in multipoint and multicast
   networks.

Working Group Summary

   The document was discussed multiple times with participation from multiple members of the BFD WG.
   Most of the discussions took place in 2014/2015 when most of the work occurred, but there have been some recent discussions in 2017/18.
   The document has been reviewed multiple times on the BFD WG mailing list. 

Document Quality

   There is one known implementation
