This document is the product of the Network Configuration Working Group.

Technical Summary

This document defines NETCONF protocol extensions needed for NMDA (Network Management Datastore Architecture) support. 


Working Group Summary

NETCONF WG came to a consensus on technical details and there were no controversial aspects left unresolved. 


Document Quality

There is a strong indication in vendor community that NMDA extensions will be implemented. Operator community expressed their support for the NMDA model approach too. The document was reviewed by YANG doctors with no major issues.
