The IESG has approved the following document: - 'Message Encryption for Web Push' (draft-ietf-webpush-encryption-09.txt) as Proposed Standard This document is the product of the Web-Based Push Notifications Working Group. This scheme provides confidentiality and integrity for messages sent from an Application Server to a User Agent. Working Group Summary The document had consensus in the working group, but there was not a lot of activity. Based on mailing list discussions, there did appear to be thoughtful discussion on it. Document Quality Matt Miller was asked to perform an in-depth review with regard to the cryptographic content of the draft, and he only had editorial comments.
