Title : Security Algorithms for IKEv2
Author(s) : P. Hoffman
Filename : draft-hoffman-ipsec-algorithms-02.txt
Pages : 6
Date : 2003-5-16
The IKEv2 protocol [IKEv2] relies on security algorithms to provide
privacy and authentication between the initiator and responder. There
are many such algorithms available, and two IKEv2 systems cannot
interoperate unless they are using the same algorithms. This document
specifies an initial set of algorithms for registration with IANA, and
specifies which are mandatory to implement. This document also specifies
optional suites of algorithms and attributes that can be used to
simplify the administration of IKEv2.

In the body type:
"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-hoffman-ipsec-algorithms-02.txt".
NOTE: The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
how to manipulate these messages.
Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.
