Title : MIME media types for DPNSS Objects
Author(s) : R. Mukundan et al.
Filename : draft-mukundan-sipping-dpnss-00.txt
Pages : 9
Date : 2003-1-7
This document describes MIME type for application/DPNSS objects for
use in SIP [3] applications, according to the rules defined in
RFC 2048 [4]. These types can be used to identify Digital Private
Network Signaling System 1 (DPNSS 1) [2] objects within a SIP message
such as INVITE or INFO, as might be implemented when using SIP in an
environment where part of the call involves interworking to
DPNSS based Private Networks. RFC 3204 [9] addresses a similar need
for ISUP and QSIG.

Internet-Drafts can also be obtained by e-mail.
Send a message to:
mailserv@ietf.org.
In the body type:
"FILE /internet-drafts/draft-mukundan-sipping-dpnss-00.txt".
NOTE: The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
how to manipulate these messages.
Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.
