3GPP-IETF Workshop on Requirements and Architectural Issues-Jan 27-28

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

workshop is planned between the constituencies of the 3GPP and IETF
to discuss Release 6 requirements and architectural issues which
relate to IETF technology areas. This workshop is planned for January
27-28, 2003 in San Francisco, US. Participation is expected from the
3GPP and IETF communities. Academia and participants from other SDOs
are also welcome to participate.

Details on registration (which will be needed by 17 January), the
hotel, and submission of slides for *under 10min* non-invited speaker
slots, will be sent to this same mailing list immediately after the
holidays.

The workshop will be co-chaired by Allison Mankin (IETF Transport
Co-Area Director) and Stephen Hayes (3GPP TSG-CN Chair).

The proposed agenda is found below. Please note that due to time
constraints, not all potential topics can be addressed. The workshop
will focus on those issues which are (or are expected to be) sources
of major differences between 3GPP and IETF. Those items are pointed
out in section 6. This workshop is intended to facilitate
communication between 3GPP and IETF; however any conclusions reached
are non-binding on either 3GPP or IETF. The times allocated are
suggestions only.
