The IESG has received a request from the Audio/Video Transport Working Group to consider RTP Payload Format for Enhanced Variable Rate Codecs (EVRC) and Selectable Mode Vocoders SMV <draft-ietf-avt-evrc-smv-03.txt> as a Proposed Standard.
