This is on a Thinkpad P70 laptop; I left the laptop along for about 30mins and mint put it on standby and turned off the monitors. Upon logging in everything seemed fine. Within a few seconds or perhaps a minute, the monitors went black, but everything recovered, so I looked at the logs to see what happened, and is posted above.
