thinkpad_acpi: Unsupported brightness interface

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello

When I boot the laptop ThinkPad T440p with Ubuntu 14.04, I receive the following message:
thinkpad_acpi: Unsupported brightness interface, please contact ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

See below a part of the log. (I did not send it right away, because I thought it will disappear with an update, but it did not, I still have the same messages).
What does it mean? How can I get rid of this message?

Thanks
Edith Birrer
