Hello,

Upon switching on my thinkpad T460 running Arch Linux with the "linux-mainline" kernel :  4.6.0-rc2-mainline
I recieve the following error message from thinkpad_acpi:

Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad ACPI Extras v0.25
Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: thinkpad_acpi: http://ibm-acpi.sf.net/

Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: thinkpad_acpi: please report this to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: thinkpad_acpi: radio switch found; radios are enabled
Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: thinkpad_acpi: This ThinkPad has standard ACPI backlight brightness control, supported by the ACPI video driver
Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: thinkpad_acpi: Disabling thinkpad-acpi brightness events by default...
Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: thinkpad_acpi: rfkill switch tpacpi_bluetooth_sw: radio is unblocked

Apr 11 17:00:44 archibald kernel: input: ThinkPad Extra Buttons as /devices/platform/thinkpad_acpi/input/input7

I believe this bug has been reported, but I also thought that a patch had been submitted and the bug was fixed in recent versions of the kernel?

I also have this problem when booting form the standard Arch kernel (4.4).

Regards,

Doug
