Also, maybe this is the wrong place to ask, but as you seem to work with IBM/Lenovo and I've got no better pointer, who should I report any dmesg screams about firmware bugs on the same computer?

Hi, my laptop is logging the following to dmesg:
thinkpad_acpi: Unsupported brightness interface, please contact ibm-acpi-devel@lists.sourceforge.net

while running this kernel: Linux E430 3.17.1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Oct 15 15:04:35 CEST 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux
on a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E430 laptop.

If you need any other information to track the issue, I'm happy to help, but I need pointers to do so.

Thanks a lot,
Mario J. Rugiero.
