Unsupported brightness interface

Hi All,

I just got the following message on my shiny new laptop:

thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad ACPI Extras v0.25
thinkpad_acpi: http://ibm-acpi.sf.net/
thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad BIOS GRET29WW (1.06 ), EC unknown
thinkpad_acpi: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2nd, model 20A7CTO1WW
thinkpad_acpi: Unsupported brightness interface, please contact ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
thinkpad_acpi: unknown version of the HKEY interface: 0x200
thinkpad_acpi: please report this to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
thinkpad_acpi: radio switch found; radios are enabled
thinkpad_acpi: This ThinkPad has standard ACPI backlight brightness control, supported by the ACPI video driver
thinkpad_acpi: Disabling thinkpad-acpi brightness events by default...
thinkpad_acpi: Console audio control enabled, mode: monitor (read only)

Er I gather you guys like to know this kind of stuff:-)  Any more infos you would like?

Everything is very new on this laptop.

Had to set acpi_backlight=vendor to get some control over the backlight.  Can only control that via the Gnome3 interface at the moment since the laptop does not have brightness buttons -- its got this funking programmable function key panel which only works under windows.

Resume from suspend is not working at all, but I dont know if that has anything to do with ACPI yet.

Cheers,

Kal
