Hello,

at a Lenovo T420 with kernel 3.8.0 I get :

2013-02-19T18:34:53.439+01:00 n22 kernel: thinkpad_acpi: unknown possible thermal alarm or keyboard event received
2013-02-19T18:34:53.439+01:00 n22 kernel: thinkpad_acpi: unhandled HKEY event 0x6040
2013-02-19T18:34:53.439+01:00 n22 kernel: thinkpad_acpi: please report the conditions when this event happened to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
2013-02-19T18:34:53.439+01:00 n22 kernel: thinkpad_acpi: EC reports that Thermal Table has changed

if I plug in /out the power cable.

In former times (eg. T410) the code was 0x6030 used IIRC)
