Hi, got a new Lenovo X121e. When unplugging the power adapter, I get these messages in my dmesg: thinkpad_acpi: unknown possible thermal alarm or keyboard event received thinkpad_acpi: temperatures (Celsius): 54 0 54 0 0 0 31 0 thinkpad_acpi: unhandled HKEY event 0x6040 thinkpad_acpi: please report the conditions when this event happened to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx EXT4-fs (sda2): re-mounted. Opts: commit=600 When plugging it back in, I get the same messages again: thinkpad_acpi: unknown possible thermal alarm or keyboard event received thinkpad_acpi: temperatures (Celsius): 55 0 55 0 0 0 31 0 thinkpad_acpi: unhandled HKEY event 0x6040 thinkpad_acpi: please report the conditions when this event happened to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx EXT4-fs (sda2): re-mounted. Opts: commit=0 Dutifully reporting as instructed. Since I'm not subscribed, please CC me if you need further information. uname -a: Linux 3.0.3-gentoo #9 SMP Mon Aug 22 22:01:48 CEST 2011 x86_64 AMD E-350 Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux While KDE 4.7.0 will correctly report that the power adapter has been connected/disconnected, these messages (and the beep) will also happen when neither X nor KDE have been started. Not sure what exactly is causing the remount of my root partition.
