I made it use the kernel module after adding force_load=1 to the /etc/modprobe.d/tpfand.conf file. So now the full content of the file is: options thinkpad_acpi force_load=1 fan_control=1 experimental=1 It would be helpful, if someone could explain to me why I need to force the loading of the module on a Thinkpad X61s. -- Andreas Paul -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Yves-Alexis Perez [mailto:corsac@xxxxxxxxxx] Gesendet: Montag, 24. Try to rebuild the module against the correct kernel maybe?
