It probably works somewhat with the latest drivers in the kernel, I
didn't have time to do a patch release yet.

If you can deal with git repositories, it is available and up-to-date at
http://repo.or.cz/w/linux-2.6/linux-acpi-2.6/ibm-acpi-2.6.git

The git url is:
git://repo.or.cz/linux-2.6/linux-acpi-2.6/ibm-acpi-2.6.git

Use one of the release/<kernel version> branches.


Anyway, the sort of info that helps is:

1. output of dmidecode (please XXX-out the serial number and UUID)
2. output of acpidump  (*FULL* output), using a recent acpi-dump.

If a BIOS/firmware update for your Edge is available from Lenovo, it
helps if you send me the above info before and after you apply the
BIOS/firmware update.

You should always keep your BIOS and firmware up-to-date on thinkpads
:-)
