I don't know if any of the SL series can be supported by thinkpad-acpi, but we could try. It will *not* help with sleep, though, and chances are very very low it could help with volume keys, since nowadays those don't go through thinkpad-acpi. If you want to try, make sure you're using the latest firmware published by Lenovo, and send me by private mail the output of "dmidecode" and "acpidump".
