Hi, I'm not really sure whether this is in any way related to the IBM ACPI drivers, or whether it could be solved in the IBM ACPI drivers - I hope you can tell me, or possibly point me to whoever possibly could do something about it ... When I close the lid switch (of my T20 with T22 BIOS, as usual ;-) before booting linux, the display stays dark when I open the switch afterwards. That is, I boot into grub with the switch open, then press it down, and let grub load linux. Now, I don't have a clue how long exactly I have to wait before releasing the switch, but if I hold it down until the basic hardware initialization (whatever that is, exactly ;-) is over, it won't light up again.
