Hi, I just want to report, that my x200s is also affected. No /proc/acpi/ibm, no /sys interfaces, special buttons are not reported. Kernel is 2.6.33-rc1; thinkpad-acpi and alsa are compiled into the kernel (not as module). This is the driver's output in dmesg: [ 1.866009] thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad ACPI Extras v0.24 [ 1.866010] thinkpad_acpi: http://ibm-acpi.sf.net/ [ 1.866012] thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad BIOS 6DET60WW (3.10 ), EC 7XHT22WW-1.04 [ 1.866014] thinkpad_acpi: Lenovo ThinkPad X200s, model [ 1.866345] thinkpad_acpi: radio switch found; radios are disabled [ 1.866478] thinkpad_acpi: This ThinkPad has standard ACPI backlight brightness control, supported by the ACPI video driver [ 1.866482] thinkpad_acpi: Disabling thinkpad-acpi brightness events by default... [ 1.871563] thinkpad_acpi: rfkill switch tpacpi_bluetooth_sw: radio is blocked [ 1.875257] thinkpad_acpi: rfkill switch tpacpi_wwan_sw: radio is blocked [ 1.882361] thinkpad_acpi: Standard ACPI backlight interface available, not loading native one. [ 1.882365] thinkpad_acpi: volume_init: driver auto-selected volume_mode=3 [ 1.882379] thinkpad_acpi: Could not create the ALSA mixer interface Volume increasing and decreasing button events are still sent correctly btw, so I guess these are not handeld by the acpi on this model. -- Sebastian
