wow! it works!

I need first load 'thinkpad-apci' and then 'video'
with 'brightness_switch_enabled=0' parameter.

Works really great.

Too bad for me that only works under gnome (althougt I'm using KDE right now
with gnome-power-manager running, but it could conflict with the kde power
manager daemon/applet :s ).

Can you (thinkpad-acpi-devel team) suggest to KDE team to include this
functionallity too, or doesn't have anything to do with 'thinkpad-acpi' ?
