I sent acpidump output off list.

Is there an acpi table patch I should be (creating and) appliying, for a
cleaner fix?

My setup isn't officially supported, although it's probably just one of
the Thinkpad crippled BIOS issues preventing it.

I'd be happy to help debug any code you care to write for this issue.
