Micmute keypress coming from Thinkpads via thinkpad-acpi are being remapped to prog2 via udev. Linux Kernel 3.1 now has proper support for a mic mute button: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git;a=commit;h=33009557bd This patch resolves the issue.
