Back in Slackware 12.0, we shipped 2.6.21.5 with:
  # CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED is not set
  # CONFIG_PM_SYSFS_DEPRECATED is not set
and udev-111.  Maybe that's helpful  :-)
