Hi folks,
This is rally good and its fixed bug 10567.
However I'm seeing a 'funny' with my usb attached tape drive.

in tape/by-id

the st0 links to usb-HP_Blah blah
but the nst0 links to scsi-1HP_blah bah.

Now I'm ready to power up all 5 of my tape drives and I'm thinking of
changing the generated identifier to ID_VENDOR-ID_MODEL-ID_SERIAL_SHORT.

This is because we don't need ID_BUS, aren't they all supposed to be scsi anyway, even if the aren't??

Seeing the serial number alone is inconvenient because the drives don't come with the serial number stuck on the front. Vendor and Model though, are hard to miss.

Now to test it.

Regard,
John
