Well, then we're dealing with at least two bugs: The authentication bug I'm trying to solve plus a bug in how Android generates wpa_supplicant logs.

I'm not optimistic about solving this problem. I think for our Android phones I'll just use my 2.4 GHz 802.11n AP, with which these phones can reauthenticate reliably.
