Thanks. I'd prefer to see all the patches with Signed-off-by: lines even
if these are more in in the RFC category since that is going to be
required in the end anyway.

Have you had any chance to experiment with mac80211_hwsim and S1G? It
would be very helpful to be able to do at least some basic testing of
this functionality in automated and easily repeatable manner.
mac80211_hwsim was extended to advertise S1G channels three years ago,
so I'd hope there would be some interest in getting that into full
functional state for testing purposes.
