wpa_supplicant: Authentication regression with 2.10 on QCA9377 chip

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

We are working with an imx6dl-based board running kernel 6.1.31 with a
QCA9377 Wifi chip.

We are able to successfully use Wifi on this board when the
wpa_supplicant version
2.9 is used.

However, after upgrading to 2.10, Wifi is no longer functional:

wlan0: authenticate with xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
wlan0: 80 MHz not supported, disabling VHT
wlan0: send auth to xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (try 1/3)
wlan0: authenticated
wlan0: associate with xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (try 1/3)
wlan0: RX AssocResp from xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (capab=0x411 status=0 aid=3)
wlan0: associated
wlan0: deauthenticating from xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx by local choice
(Reason: 3=DEAUTH_LEAVING)
Error: Connection activation failed: Secrets were required, but not provided.

We haven't bisected this yet, but we would appreciate any hints/suggestions
to fix this regression.

Thanks,

Fabio Estevam
