With the patch it's still possible to suffer packet loss of the AP->STA deauth which would fail to clear the flag leading to the same kind of issue. Instead, why not clear out the flag in mlme_event_auth() instead of relying on prev_addr? That would address both your randomized MAC address case as well as a packet loss case, no?
