So by saying "the kernel would do it if not done in HW", do you mean
that with some cheap chipsets ( :-) ) the kernel will take the
responsibility of the decryption/encryption?
Would you know some chipsets that can be programmed to pass encrypted
frames to the kernel and then the kernel takes care of them?
